Hi Folks,
These are ISO images created with ImgBurn from clean Windows 7 Professional SP1 install disks (32 bit and 64 bit respectively). These ISOs are English by default. Hopefully these are of use to someone who wishes to create virtual machines, or even install on older hardware! Download VirtualBox for Windows XP (32/64 bit) Free. The program allows you to use different operating systems in the same computer. VirtualBox is free, enterprise-ready virtualization software for Windows users. Developed by the Oracle Corporation, the tool lets users run different operating systems on their computers. It’s a feature-rich product and is one of the only professional virtualization tools available as open-source software. Once I had the installation media in my possession, I fired up VirtualBox. If you’re wanting to do what I did, here are the steps: In VirtualBox Manager, click New. Enter the name for your virtual machine and select the type and version; as mentioned previously, I’m using Windows 7 (32-bit).
I've set up a few linux variants on my Windows 7 laptop. Ubuntu, Gentoo and Fedora have worked fine, but I'm having issues with Mandriva 2001.2.I've downloaded the 32-bit ISO and attached it as the boot media. I've set up a 10 gig fixed sized disk (as with the other installations).
I've booted the installation media, selected my regional settings, and selected erase and use the full disk.
The installation program then lists the installation media, and I've selected none for the additional media to configure.

When I click install all the installation packages fail, one after another.
I've also tried including the CD-ROM but that gives other errors.
I'm using VBox 3.2.12.
Any ideas?
Thanks
